Nelli Tree, an initiative launched in 2018 by project founders and private donors, Tamara Raymond and Ryan Raymond, seeks to empower the people of Nelli Gaha Waththa, an impoverished neighbourhood nestled in the suburbs of Peliyagoda, Sri Lanka, by improving access to quality education and basic healthcare.

The Nelli Tree project facilitated a nutrition program for mothers living in Nelli Gaha Waththa conducted by a team of medical professionals from the Kelaniya Medical Officer of Health.
